After graduating college at 18, Kathy joined J.P. Morgan Chase's interbank FX trading desk. Since then, she has built a reputation as an international currency analyst by creating solid fundamental and technical currency analysis. She is frequently quoted on channels like CNBC Asia and Channel News Asia and has written for publications like The Edge and Bloomberg. She is the author of Day Trading the Currency Market: Technical and Fundamental Strategies to Profit from Market Moves, and the co-author of Millionaire Traders: How Everyday People Are Beating Wall Street at Its Own Game with Boris Schlossberg. She joined GFT in 2008.

Xianlin Li is a member of the Deutsche Bank Global Markets structuring team responsible for the distribution of Deutsche Bank ETFs, branded as db x-trackers, in Asia. db x-trackers currently offers 39 ETFs listed on SGX, making it the largest ETF provider in terms of product offerings in Singapore. Worldwide, Deutsche Bank offers more than 140 ETFs on various asset classes which manage over US$50bn in assets. Deutsche Bank is a committed market maker for all db x-trackers ETFs and was named the winner of the "Exchange-traded funds, Asia Pacific" Award at the AsianInvestor 2010 Investment Performance Awards. Xianlin graduated with honors from Harvard University with a degree in Biochemistry and Economics.

Albert Cheng joined the World Gold Council, Singapore regional office in March 1993 as a Regional Manager, Planning and Business Development, becoming Managing Director, Far East in 2003 with responsibility for operations in the entire region.

He was with Dentsu, Young and Rubicam, Hong Kong in the early 80’s, where he was responsible for the advertising and promotion of a number of popular and durable consumer products. His career in gold marketing began in July, 1985 when he joined the Royal Canadian Mint as a Manager for South East Asia.

A graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr. Cheng holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing; he is also member of the CAM in U.K.

Chee Yong is a Sales Manager for Southeast Asia at State Street Global Advisors Singapore. He joined SSgA from the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), where he was an intern for one year.

Chee Yong graduated with an MS in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University, and has an honors degree from Nanyang Technological University with a major in electrical and electronic engineering. He has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program and is awaiting the award of his charter from the CFA Institute.

Henry is Macquarie's senior sales person and market maker on the warrants desk. He delta hedges the risk for the bank in the underlying shares and frequently conduct warrant seminars for both professional traders and retail investors. Henry has been in the Singapore warrants market for more than four years. Prior to joining Macquarie, he was an investment research analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Anson Chow joined Deutsche Bank's db-X Financial Products team in 2007 and is in the team responsible for the exchange listed products business including product development, statistical analysis and investor education and training. Currently Anson works with the financial institutions and the brokers in Hong Kong, mainland China and Singapore on product training. He speaks regularly in public investment seminars in the region and attends media interviews in Hong Kong.

Anson holds a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago in the USA.

Shirley Kwok joined BNP Paribas, Equities and Derivatives Asia (ex-Japan), Retail Listed Products in October 2005. As an Associate Director, Shirley strives to educate the public on warrants and CBBCs investment knowledge through various channels. She presents herself as a host or speaker at numerous small-scale workshops to large-scale seminars to educate investors on warrants and CBBCs. In 2008, Shirley played a significant role in a program educating investors on the basics and trading strategies of CBBCs. She also plays an active role in educating Singapore investors on warrants by conducting mid-scale seminars and publishing educational articles in Singapore. She was promoted to head up the Retail Listed Sales team in May 2010.

Before joining BNP, Shirley worked at Bloomberg LP as a Warrant Data Analyst. She graduated from George Washington University in Washington DC with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Japanese language and literature.

An Economist by training, Andrew has over 20 years of sales and marketing, communications and management experience in the logistics, hospitality, corporate communications and investor relations industries. At Kingsmen he is responsible for the Group’s corporate affairs and business development.

Prior to joining Kingsmen, he was General Manager of Citigate Dewe Rogerson iMAGE. He has extensive experience in corporate and financial communications and corporate branding, honed from years of providing strategic counsel & working closely with senior management across multi-industries to strategise, develop and execute marketing and communication programmes; aimed at maximizing corporate and product branding, and driving business growth.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Tasmania, Australia and currently serves as Hon. Secretary to the Securities Investors Association Singapore (SIAS).

Dato’ Seri Stanley Thai is the founder of the Supermax Group. Supermax is today, the world’s second largest latex glove manufacturing company, commanding 12% of the global market share.

Thai is a visionary entrepreneur who recognises the importance of brand building and is a strong advocator of “Made in Malaysia” products. He was responsible for the growth of the Supermax Group and led the Company through many achievements. In July 2010, at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club awards, Supermax won the coveted title of ‘Company of the Year’ as well as 2 other corporate awards under the Industrial Products sector, i.e. ‘Highest Returns to Shareholders’ and ‘Highest Growth in Profit Before Tax’.

Thai started his glove trading and export business in 1987. The success of his trading business led to his venture into glove manufacturing where he made his first million at the age 29.

In 1989, Thai took a bold step forward to launch his first own brand of latex examination gloves, SUPERMAX®, which became the first Malaysian brand to compete in the international markets against more established brand names such as Ansell and Kimberly Clark.

Thai’s background in trading allowed him to understand the need to control his own distribution and marketing channels where he subsequently established Supermax USA, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Belgium and Australia as distribution centres.

Thai took the company to greater heights when he listed Supermax on the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 2000 and subsequently transferred to the Main Board in 2003.

Today, Thai oversees Supermax Group’s 9 wholly owned manufacturing plants based in Malaysia and 6 international distribution centres with a wide global network of 750 distributors. A leading own brand manufacturer exporting to 146 countries, Supermax is the second most popular glove brand in the US dental market.

Mapping out his next 10-year plan for Supermax, Thai embarked on a ‘Glove City’ project in early 2010 where the first phase of his strategic modernised glove factories has commenced.

In May 2010, Thai received the American Humanitarian Service Award from the state of Illinois, US, in recognition of his humanitarian contributions and commitment to the community. Thai was one of only 14 Asians to receive the award.

Song Seng Wun is presently the Chief Executive Officer and Regional Economist in CIMB Securities Research Pte Ltd

Born a Malaysian, Seng Wun holds a Master of Arts in Econometrics from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He started his career as an economist in Malayan Banking Bhd. In the early 1990’s, he moved to Singapore and worked as a Regional Economist with various major multi-national financial institutions such as Merrill Lynch (formerly Smith Newcourt); Warburg Dillion Reed (formerly SB Warburg) as well as ABN Amro (formerly ABN Amro Hoare Govette).

Seng Wun’s area of focus is in the economies of ASEAN-5. He is an icon in South Asia’s media as he regularly contributes his professional views on the regional financial markets.
